Job summary

Exact Asia Malaysia is expanding its Technology Development team in Melaka. We seek a Software Team Lead to guide a scrum team, driving innovative SaaS solutions while upholding quality, standards, and Agile practices.

The role emphasizes ownership of architecture, domain expertise, and collaboration with global teams. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in .NET development, strong unit testing and design principles, REST/WCF/SOAP experience, and a proactive, English-speaking mindset in a hybrid work

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in .NET development and software engineering.
Strong knowledge of unit testing, code reviews, and SOLID design.
Deep SQL knowledge with performance tuning experience a plus.
Experience with web service APIs (REST, WCF/SOAP) and cloud tools.
Familiarity with Scrum and Agile product development.
English communication skills; proactive in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a dynamic scrum development team.
Drive solutions and take ownership of delivery per roadmap and Scrum cadence.
Manage software quality across development, integration, testing, and performance.
Ensure software adheres to Exact standards and designs.
Execute technology strategies to support business goals.
Own a technical domain and its functionality.
Handle daily engagement: attendance, meetings, leave, expenses.
Set team objectives, conduct reviews, and provide feedback.
Identify learning needs and enable team development.
