Job summary

Kardex Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to join our KL team. This role blends warehouse automation, backend configuration, debugging, and customer-facing project work.

It is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work model reporting to the Software Manager. The role focuses on configuring and deploying our WES, troubleshooting logs, and integrating with WMS/ERP systems while training customers and handling Level 3 support.

Qualifications

• Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, Java Spark.
• 3+ years in software deployment, integration, or automation systems.
• Bonus: .NET/C#, Python scripting, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy & implement Kardex Warehouse Execution Software (WES).
• Analyse logs (Apache log4j) and troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate with AutoStore, WMS/ERP systems and customer environments.
• Train customers and provide Level 3 software support.
• Lead on-site software integration with commissioning engineers and customers.
• Contribute to knowledge base and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. Growing fast in APAC, and we’re looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to join our KL team. This role blends warehouse automation, backend configuration/debugging/development, support and customer-facing project work. This full-time position is to be based in Kuala Lumpur and shall report to the Software Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy & implement our Kardex Warehouse Execution Software (WES)
• Analyse logs (Apache log4j) and troubleshoot issues
• Work with automated system such as AutoStore and more + customer WMS/ERP integrations
• Train customers & provide Level 3 software support
• Lead on site software integration activities collaborating with commissioning engineers and customer
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
