Job summary

AMS Osram in Penang invites a student to join the Software Engineering team to develop and enhance AI-powered capabilities for TestHub, an enterprise test management platform. You will work on backend services, data processing, and AI features to improve software quality, automation, and user experience.

This internship offers exposure to AI/ML applications, including intelligent search, recommendation systems, and AI-assisted test case generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, SE, IT, AI, DS, CE or related; final semester students preferred.
• Strong interest in software development and AI/ML.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, or similar.
• Understanding of software development concepts, databases, APIs, and web apps.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or Generative AI beneficial; Git and cloud/Docker add'l advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Minimum internship duration of 4 months.

Responsibilities
