Job summary

Nilai Mayang Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is offering a Software Engineering Intern position to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications.

You will support front-end and back-end development, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance while collaborating with a team and staying updated on the latest web technologies.

The internship provides practical experience aligned with your diploma studies and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in diploma or higher in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Familiarity with frontend and backend development is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Git and common web tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites and web apps.
• Support front-end and back-end development including UI, business logic, and DB integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and usability.

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications.

Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, contribute to solution design, and deliver effective web-based solutions.

Stay updated with the latest web development technologies, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing a diploma or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or a related field.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks, back-end development, databases, or web application development is an advantage.

Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git and common web development tools is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Passionate about website development and building functional, user-friendly web applications.
