Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer (Systems, Data & Infrastructure) to design and maintain data pipelines, research utilities, simulation environments, and core trading systems, with a strong focus on reliability. You will work with ownership and contribute to implementation and design, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable infrastructure using C++, Python, and Go.

The role requires strong communication and a solid CS foundation, with familiarity in LLM tooling and integration

Qualifications

• Strong communication within and outside the team.
• Solid background in Computer Science (data structures, OS, networks, databases).
• Familiar with LLM-related toolings, frameworks and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

Software Engineer (Systems, Data & Infrastructure)

Software Engineers serve as the architects of our firm’s foundational infrastructure, driving the development and maintenance of our data processing pipelines, research utilities, simulation environments, and core trading systems. The team’s primary mandate is to ensure system reliability while continuously deploying features that accelerate firm-wide productivity.

As a Software Engineer, you will be expected to operate with a high degree of ownership, contributing to both implementation and technical design, while collaborating closely with team members to ensure successful delivery.

Core Technology Stack: C++, Python, Go.

Qualifications

Good communication skills. Able to communicate effectively within and outside the team.

Solid background in Computer Science such as knowledge in data structures, operating system, network and database

Familiar with LLM-related toolings, frameworks and integration patterns
