Job summary

Silverlake Axis in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across the software development life cycle, from design to deployment, to deliver scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, has strong programming fundamentals in Java, Hibernate and PostgreSQL, and can work independently or in a team. Banking domain knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

The Software Engineer will contribute in the many phases of software development such as design, development, testing, implementation, and maintaining a scalable software solution for the organization.

What you will do

• Participate in the complete software development life cycle.
• Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs according to specifications, applying knowledge of programming techniques and methodologies.
• Prepare test data, test scripts, and test coded programs thoroughly to validate completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in design system and analysis of program specification.
• Maintain current knowledge of standard programming languages, coding, methods.
• Perform installation and deployment of system.
• Provide technical support when required.

What you will need

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant fields.
• Good knowledge in programming fundamentals (JAVA, Hibernate, Postgre SQL and etc)
• Good communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge in banking solutions will be an added advantage.
