Job summary

Silverlake Structured Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of scalable applications.

You will analyze business needs, design and troubleshoot applications and databases, coordinate development with IT teams, and convert RPG III programs to RPG IV/Free and RPG ILE, while recommending improvements and learning batch processing concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software development and RPG programming.
• Willingness to learn online and batch processing requirements.
• Ability to read and understand existing program logic to determine required changes.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
