Job summary

Experian Marketing Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, test and deploy full stack applications. You will build modern UIs, APIs, and database components while ensuring code quality and security.

The role emphasizes collaboration across product, engineering, and support teams and uses AI-assisted development tools. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years in software engineering, experience with React/Angular/Vue, ORM tech, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering and full stack development.
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue; Hibernate/JPA; Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, test automation.
• Proficient with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins; NoSQL DBs such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, DynamoDB; cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.
• Build modern UIs, APIs, and database components.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and uphold engineering quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/e2e) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and collaborate across teams to deliver outcomes.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.

Build modern user interfaces, APIs, and database components.

You will need to write clean, secure, maintainable code and contribute to engineering quality standards.

Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams to deliver business outcomes.

You will leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

What We're Looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience, including full stack application development.

Experience with:

Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA

Good understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation.

Experience with source control and development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven, and Jenkins.

Experience with a non-relational / noSQL database such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or DynamoDB

Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. You will combine in-office and remote work, with regular attendance required at the office.
