Job summary

Experian Marketing Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Cyberjaya. You will build real-world applications using Java, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate in an inclusive, growth-minded environment.

Ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals, you will work with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience (or equivalent via internships, projects, or bootcamps).
• Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
• Exposure to databases, APIs, and application development concepts.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java tech stacks.
• Work with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence.
• Report to the Software Engineering Manager.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes for efficient deployment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives).

What You'll Do

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to build real-world applications and grow their technical skills.

• Develop and maintain the development using Java tech stacks.
• Work with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence
• You will be reporting to the Software Engineering Manager
• You will use AI assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, troubleshooting and overall delivery effectiveness.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes, creating, repeatable, and efficient deployment practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• 0–2 years of software development experience (or equivalent experience through internships, academic projects, or bootcamps)
• Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming
