Job summary

SAINS is seeking a Software Engineer for a fixed-term contract based in Kuching, Sarawak. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions, work on DBs and system integrations, and contribute to design documents while ensuring smooth deployments.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous learning. You will collaborate with the Technical Lead and team, and support ongoing system improvements.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions to meet business and operational needs.

Participate in unit, functional, system, and integration testing as well as UAT.

Support and maintain existing systems to ensure continuous improvement.

Undertake any other assigned tasks as assigned by the Director/Section Head/Technical Lead from time to time.
