Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a student or recent graduate to assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software under the guidance of senior developers. You will support the development team in building and maintaining web, mobile, or desktop applications and help troubleshoot issues.

The role offers exposure to databases, version control, and frameworks, with opportunities to work with cross-functional teams and contribute to project documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Exposure to modern programming languages and web tech is desirable.
• Knowledge of databases and Git/GitHub is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software under guidance of senior developers.
• Support development of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in existing systems.
• Maintain and update technical documentation (user guides, specs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements.
• Conduct basic unit and functional testing on new features.
• Assist with database design and data management tasks.
• Research and learn new tools, frameworks and technologies as required.
