Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior software leader to mentor engineers across multiple stacks and to own Azure Cloud infrastructure, security, and cost optimization. The role drives system enhancements and ERP multi-region deployment, including Singapore localization and compliance considerations.

You will oversee integrations with automation and external systems, enforce coding standards, and promote AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of software development experience in enterprise applications.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, and Web APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, design patterns, enterprise architecture, SQL/database design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with REST APIs, system integration, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, version control, code reviews, and release management.
• Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in Azure Cloud, ERP systems, regional deployment, or AI-assisted development is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with Chinese stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineers across multiple technology stacks.
• Own and manage Azure Cloud infrastructure, security, performance, cost optimization, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Drive system enhancements, integrations, and scalable technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the ERP codebase revamp to support multi-region deployment, including Singapore localization, tax, currency, language, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee integrations with automation equipment and external systems.
• Establish coding standards, code reviews, testing, DevOps, and release governance.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, testing, and development efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
