Job summary

Carousell Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Marketing Content Intern to help plan and execute social media content calendars, spot trends, and generate engaging ideas across platforms like Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook and the website. You will head TikTok community management, collaborate on creative briefs and copywriting, and assist with AI-driven content ideas to accelerate campaigns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or pursuing degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Experience with at least two social platforms: Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook.
• Strong English, good communication; Mandarin a plus for Xiao Hong Shu.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute content calendars
• Spot social trends and develop content ideas
• Create content across platforms including Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook
• Lead TikTok community management and respond to comments/DMs
• Collaborate on briefs, copywriting for posts, ads and emails; maintain monthly calendar
• Generate leads for partnerships with KOLs, UGC creators, and brands
• Leverage AI tools to ideate concepts, draft copy, and streamline workflows
• Support other marketing initiatives as needed
