Job summary

MAC Media Creation is seeking a Creative Content Creator & Video Editor to join our growing media team in Penang. You will plan, shoot and edit content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms, ensuring it aligns with branding and campaigns.

You will develop concepts, scripts and short-form videos, handling basic production setup, lighting and audio, while collaborating with management and marketing to deliver dynamic projects and events.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, or Marketing is advantageous.
• Experience in video editing and content creation is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong portfolio encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit video content for social platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
• Develop creative concepts, content ideas and short-form video scripts.
• Handle video shooting, lighting, audio and basic production setup.
• Edit videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant editing software.
• Create engaging Reels, TikTok videos, promotional videos and event content.
• Take photos and videos during company events, campaigns and activities.
• Assist in developing social media content calendars and campaigns.
• Create basic graphic materials when required using Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
• Ensure all content follows the company’s branding and visual direction.
• Stay updated with current social media trends, viral content formats and audience preferences.
• Work closely with the management and marketing team to execute creative campaigns.
• Manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines.
