Job summary

Synergy Dining Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator to join the marketing team in Malaysia. You will plan, create, and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, XiaoHongShu, and more for our F&B brands.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing; fresh graduates with strong portfolio welcome.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, XiaoHongShu (RED), and current social media trends.
• Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar video editing tools.
• Basic photography and videography skills.
• Creative, proactive, and able to generate fresh content ideas independently.
• Willing to travel to outlets for content creation.
• Mandarin proficiency is mandatory (spoken and written); English and Bahasa Malaysia are an added advantage.

Develop creative ideas for short-form videos, reels, and social media campaigns.

Stay updated with the latest social media trends, viral content, and platform algorithms.

Shoot, edit, and produce videos and photos using mobile devices or cameras.

Write compelling captions and content that align with each brand's tone of voice.

Coordinate with the marketing, and design teams to execute content plans.

Attend outlet visits for content shooting and campaign coverage.

Monitor content performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Assist in brainstorming and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, XiaoHongShu (RED), and current social media trends.

Proficient in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.

Basic photography and videography skills.

Creative, proactive, and able to generate fresh content ideas independently.

Willing to travel to outlets for content creation.

Mandarin proficiency is mandatory (spoken and written) to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, talents, and content creators. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.

Strong copywriting skills in Mandarin are preferred.

Passion for the F&B industry is an added advantage.

Bonus Skills

Experience managing social media accounts for F&B or lifestyle brands.

Familiar with Meta Business Suite and basic social media analytics.

Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
