Convergys in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Level 2 SOC Testing Specialist to assess and strengthen security posture through penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and validation of security controls. The role requires collaboration with IT and security teams to mitigate risks and stay ahead of emerging threats.

You will conduct real-world attack simulations, document findings, and contribute to improving defense robustness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive penetration testing across networks, web applications, and other critical systems to identify security vulnerabilities.
Perform vulnerability assessments and develop detailed reports outlining findings, risk severity, impact, and remediation recommendations.
Work with IT and security teams to design and implement strategies that mitigate identified risks.
Simulate real-world cyber-attack scenarios to evaluate security controls and identify improvement areas.
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, tools, and attack techniques.
Assist in planning, execution, and reporting of advanced security assessment activities.
Provide expert guidance on security best practices and regulatory requirements.
Document and report identified weaknesses, incidents, or breaches promptly.
