Job summary

Orange is seeking a SOC Analyst to map defense-in-depth strategies onto detection capabilities and collaborate with the customer's security department to mitigate incidents.

You will develop and improve playbooks within SOAR, interlock with CyberSOC teams to implement new threat scenarios, and mentor fellow SOC analysts while advising customers on cyber trends and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years in security management services with logs and threat monitoring.
• 2+ years in a SOC role.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience administering SIEM (QRadar or Splunk).

Responsibilities

Job description

As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for mapping your knowledge to a defense in depth strategy implemented on detection capabilities, analyzing security events raised by tooling and taking adequate steps together with the customer's security department to mitigate them. You will develop and improve playbooks within SOAR used to automate investigations and remediation procedures, interlock with CyberSOC teams to actively implement new threat scenarios in customer contexts, advise customers on cyber trends, and contribute to mentorship programs towards other SOC analysts. Your success is defined by building trust relationships with customers and minimizing risks based on their business.

Key responsibilities

• Map knowledge to a defense in depth strategy implemented on detection capabilities
• Analyze security events raised by tooling and take adequate steps with the customer's security department to mitigate them
• Develop and improve playbooks within SOAR to automate investigations and remediation procedures
• Interlock with CyberSOC teams to actively implement new threat scenarios in customer contexts
• Advise customers on cyber trends
• Contribute to mentorship programs towards other SOC analysts

About you

• Minimal a bachelor degree in computer science or programming
• 3+ years of experience in security management services oriented position giving support and/or performing installations of network security systems with proven working experience in logs collection and threat monitoring
• 2+ years of experience in a SOC role
• Broad knowledge on threat analysis and experience in intelligence reporting
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in administrating a SIEM solution such as IBM QRadar or Splunk
• Experience in reversing malware is a plus
• Technical security certifications (at least one) such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, C|EH, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GCDA, GIAC GDAT
• Industry certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP is a plus
