Job summary

Orange Business is seeking a Security Engineer for a shift role in Malaysia with a strong background in network and security configurations. You will apply security measures, respond to alerts, define new services, and implement policies across customer IT environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with major security platforms and the ability to work on weekends. Opportunities for global collaboration and professional development are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT oriented field or equivalent by experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT service-oriented position.
  • Supporting and/or performing installations of networking and/or security environments.
  • Proven working experience in IT systems administration, support, configuration.
  • Ability to configure, implement or perform change management on security equipment.
  • Certification on at least 2 security areas (Firewall, IDS, Remote Access...).
  • Mandatory knowledge and hands-on experience with at least two: Palo Alto, Fortinet, CheckPoint, F5, Cisco ASA (and Firepower), Pulse Secure, Bluecoat.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Security Expertise to assist customers in implementing valuable security measures on their IT infrastructure.
  • Respond to Network and Security alerts discovered by our tools and take necessary actions to limit operational impact.
  • Define and implement new Security Services to alleviate risks on customer IT infrastructures.
  • Define high-level Security Policies with customers and implement across the IT chain at the customer site.
  • Triages Security events and provides forensic analysis to customers and legal entities.
  • Conduct Security audits on the customer's environment.
  • Collaborate with Security experts to align efforts with Orange Business Service group.

About The Role

To support Orange Cyberdefense Belgium providing a high level of services and excellence to our customers, we provide our colleagues with cutting-edge certifications and trainings in a fulfilling and dynamic environment where knowledge transfer is crucial, and sense of efforts recognized.

Responsibilities
  • The application of Security Expertise to assist our customers in implementing valuable security measures on their IT infrastructure.

  • Define and implement new Security Services which we can offer to our customers to assist in alleviating potential risks on their IT infrastructure.
  • Define high-level Security Policies together with our customers AND implement it throughout the complete IT chain at the customer.
  • Triage Security events and provide forensic analysis to our customers (and legal entities)
  • Conduct Security audits on the customers environment.
  • Collaborate with the groups' Security experts to align our Security efforts with the Orange Business Service group.
About You

Extensive Hands-on and Knowledge on Palo Alto and Fortinet.

Shift Role Details
  • This is a shift role with the following condition :
  • Must be able to work on shift hours including weekends.
  • PCNSE / Fortinet NSE7 Certified or knowledge with experience.
