Job summary

Tiger Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd., located in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, seeks an SMT Process Engineer to evaluate and implement SMT processes, support AOI, SPI, and X-ray equipment, and program X-ray inspection machines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Able to analyze SMT equipment and process-related issues.
• Able to read engineering documentation; strong written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of RoHS and no-clean processes.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD001 workmanship criteria.
• Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the SMT department.
• Support SMT equipment, AOI, SPI, Xray, Wave solder machine and rework equipment.
• Program Xray inspection machine.
• Debug, and maintain SMT pick and place equipment.
• Create soldering profiles for SMT reflow ovens and wave solder and rework equipment.
• Fine-tune the SPI (solder paste inspection) machines inspection criteria.
• Design, implement and rollout new procedures to optimize productivity.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor SMT processes and operating systems.
• Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes.
• Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
• Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues.
• Participate in training classes focusing on employee improvement.
• Assess compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and rollout new procedures

• Monitors and improves efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes
• Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
• Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues
• Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
• Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
• Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronic manufacturing environment
• Must be able to do analysis on all SMT equipment and process related issue
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Ability to read engineering documentation, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working experience with RoHS and no clean processes
• Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD001 workmanship criteria
• Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan
