Job summary

Calibre Events Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Promoter for smartphone products at IOI Mall Damansara. You will demonstrate features, share expert knowledge, and tailor recommendations to each customer.

You will engage customers in a friendly, professional manner, upsell and cross-sell to hit daily, weekly, and monthly targets, and keep displays tidy with current promos. A passion for technology and strong communication helps you build lasting relationships and provide excellent service

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, product promotion, or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of smartphone technology and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate smartphone features and specifications to customers, highlighting key benefits and functionality.
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations tailored to individual customer needs and preferences.
• Engage with potential customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their requirements.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Maintain an attractive and organised product display area, ensuring all promotional materials are current and visible.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions and competitor offerings to provide current market insights.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
