Job summary
Becton, Dickinson and Company in Kedah, Malaysia seeks an Operational Technology Support professional to maintain OT systems, industrial networks, and manufacturing automation platforms.
You will troubleshoot OT equipment, support PLC-controlled equipment from Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, and Schneider, and help advance Smart Factory initiatives, MES integration, and data visualization across the site.
Qualifications
- Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial networks and protocols.
- Experience with MES interfaces, data visualization, and digital manufacturing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support OT systems, industrial networks, and manufacturing automation platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve OT-related equipment, software, and network issues.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies for OT assets.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and compliance with site standards.
- Lead and support Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 initiatives across the site.
- Implement and maintain machine connectivity, data collection, and visualization solutions.
- Support MES integration, OEE monitoring, production dashboards, and Industrial IoT applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance through digitalization and automation.
