Job summary

Dyson Malaysia invites a seasoned product and SKU leader to define and manage the SKU portfolio, from creation to obsolescence. You will partner with Category and Commercial teams to scope SKUs, manage data in databases, and ensure accurate SKU SOP delivery.

You will lead a team of product engineers and project managers, drive efficiency improvements, and present recommendations to senior leadership. A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science and at least 5 years in SKU/BOM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science.
• Min 5 years of experience with depth knowledge dealing and approving product/BOM, SKU.
• Min 2 years of product project management, working closely with Head of Product and Head of Marketing/Marketing Managers.
• Min 2 years of product project management, working closely with Head of Product and Head of Marketing/Marketing Managers.
• Have leadership skills with influential power, with at least 1 years experience working closely with Head of Product and Head of Marketing/Marketing Managers.
• Active in suggesting potential ways to improve efficiency.
• Proven records in driving solutions towards upper management team.

Responsibilities

• Define SKU Portfolio/range in collaboration with Category and Commercial teams.
• Manage SKUs in SKU databases/systems from creation to obsolescence; ensure data accuracy.
• Lead project management activities: manage risk/issues/opportunities and cadence for timely flagging to leadership.
• Lead change projects at team level to improve efficiency.
• Manage a team of product engineers and project managers for delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Product Management: Work closely with Category team and Commercial team to define SKU Portfolio/range, then manage the SKUs in SKU databases/systems
• Work closely with the Product Category Heads and accountable on the SKU range of the product category (range confirmation from creation to obsolescence, SKU SOP delivery and SKU data management
• Project Management: manage risk/issue/opportunity - review with teams and manage meeting cadence to be able to flag the R/I/O timely and effectively to the Category Leadership team and SKU Management Leadership team.
• Lead change project at team level to improve efficiency.
• People Management: Manage a team of product engineers and project managers to deliver the above responsibilities, e.g. resource planning, performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science discipline
• Min 5 years of experience with depth knowledge dealing and approving product/BOM, SKU
• Min 2 years of product project management, working closely with Head of Product and Head of Marketing/Marketing Managers
• Min 2 years of product project management, working closely with Head of Product and Head of Marketing/Marketing Managers
