Job summary

Goldfields Concepts Sdn. Bhd. seeks a capable construction supervisor to coordinate and oversee on-site activities in Ipoh, Perak. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure quality, and maintain schedules to meet project scope and budget.

Responsibilities include safety enforcement, site inspections, liaising with clients, authorities, and project managers, and preparing site reports. Travel within Malaysia is required; reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Be able to liaise with clients, project managers and authorities.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and execute construction activities.
• Inspect and control the quality of construction works.
• Supervise subcontractors to complete the project on time and within budget.
• Check drawings for alignment with specifications and scope.
• Resolve discrepancies between structure and architecture drawings.
• Review subcontractor progress claims based on actual work done.
• Perform regular site inspections.
• Identify and manage safety hazards per accident protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices.
• Check work techniques for correctness and safety.
• Manage orders and deliveries of building materials.
• Assist project managers with planning and subcontractor arrangements.
• Complete site reports and records.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia; mainly Klang Valley and Northern region.
• Report to Project Manager.
