Job summary

Daiman Development Berhad is seeking a Senior Project Manager assistant to oversee civil, structural and M&E works on property development projects in Johor Bahru. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with approved drawings, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and maintaining thorough project records.

Candidates should have a Professional Certificate / Diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years in similar roles, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Clerk of Work, Site Supervisor, or similar.
• Experience in infrastructure is advantageous.
• Experience in property construction is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve C&S-related matters during construction.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, contractors, consultants, and internal departments.
• Attend site meetings to provide progress updates and address stakeholder concerns.
• Attend to C&S-related defects during the defect liability period and liaise with relevant departments for rectification.
• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, and correspondence; prepare status reports.
• Assist in preparation of project closeout documents, including as-built drawings and handover packages.
• Role 2: Responsibilities — M&E: supervise and inspect electrical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary, lift and ELV systems; monitor M&E progress.
