Job summary

ADEPT CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING SDN BHD invites a proactive Site Supervisor to join our on-site team in Malaysia. You will oversee daily construction activities, ensure adherence to project plans and safety standards, and coordinate with managers, engineers and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include monitoring workmanship quality, resolving issues promptly and maintaining thorough progress records while guiding junior teammates to enhance skills and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision or similar construction management role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal coordination with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Job description

Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of construction site to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols

Monitoring and inspecting the quality of work performed by workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with client's standards and specifications

Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise on the construction site in a timely and efficient manner

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the flow of materials, equipment, and labour resources

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to project progress, safety incidents, and other key metrics

Providing training and guidance to junior members of the construction team to develop their skills and expertise

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as a deep understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgements under pressure
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
