Overview

As a Site Supervisor at PEMBINAAN TEGUH MAJU SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects in the Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur area. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Monitor and maintain site safety, including the implementation of safety protocols and the management of any incidents or accidents
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, identify and resolve issues, and ensure effective communication across the project team
• Review and approve project-related documentation, such as timesheets, material requisitions, and quality control reports
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance site efficiency and productivity
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced construction workers

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with and manage diverse teams
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Familiarity with construction software and digital tools, such as project management and scheduling applications
• Certification in construction management or a related field would be an advantage
