Job summary

Sega Elektrik Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily site activities at the Bukit Jalil project in Kuala Lumpur. You will supervise workers and subcontractors, monitor workmanship and ensure daily work targets are achieved on site.

This role requires an active site presence, the ability to translate drawings into tasks, and timely reporting to the Site Engineer and management. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of site supervision experience in electrical

Qualifications

• SPM, technical certificate or Diploma in Construction, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience.
• Experience supervising electrical infrastructure, external services or fibre optic works is an advantage.
• Able to read basic construction drawings and translate instructions into daily site tasks.
• Able to manage workers and subcontractors firmly and professionally.
• Able to maintain accurate attendance, material and daily progress records.
• Practical, reliable and willing to remain actively involved in site operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities in accordance with approved drawings, work instructions and the agreed work programme.
• Allocate daily tasks to workers and coordinate subcontractor activities with the Site Engineer.
• Monitor work progress, manpower deployment and productivity against daily and weekly targets.
• Check workmanship and report defects, discrepancies or work that does not comply with approved requirements.
• Maintain daily records of worker attendance, work completed, equipment usage and site conditions.
• Monitor material deliveries, usage, storage and remaining stock; notify the Site Engineer of shortages in advance.
• Check equipment condition and report faults with clear observations to support troubleshooting and repair decisions.
• Identify site obstructions and coordination issues early, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with site measurements, inspections, testing and progress report.
• Ensure workers follow site safety rules, use appropriate PPE and maintain good housekeeping.
