Hotayi Electronic (M) Sdn Bhd (Hotayi Group) seeks a Registered Site Safety Officer to ensure on-site safety compliance across construction or semi-conductor factory projects. DOSH Malaysia Green Book holder preferred; diploma/degree in OSH, EH, engineering or related discipline.

• Registered Site Safety Officer with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book)
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering or related discipline
• At least 3 years of project site safety experience (construction/semi-conductor factory projects preferred)
• Willing to be based on site and travel as required
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently at site

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe working practices are observed and complied by all staff/workers at the site
• Ensure staff and sub-contractors’ workers use suitable personal protective equipment
• Carry out and prepare daily site safety inspections
• Carry out safety programs (safety induction / toolbox meetings)
• Monitor daily safety of general workers at site
• Inspect worksite machinery and equipment for safety compliance
• Assist incidents/accident investigations and reporting
• Ensure safety signage, first aid kit, firefighting equipment and safety materials are available
• Ensure site accessories are safe and housekeeping is maintained
• Prepare and submit safety workers timesheets to Project Manager/Safety Manager/SHO
• Assist and report on site safety/health/environment issues to PM
• Be a team player promoting safety, health and environmental matters

Conocimientos

DOSH Green Book Holder

OSH/EHS/Engineering degree

3+ years site safety experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe working practices are observed and complied by all staff / workers at the site
• Ensure that all staff and sub-contractors’ workers are using suitable personal protective Equipment
• Carry out and prepare the daily site safety inspection
• Carry out safety programs (safety induction / toolbox meeting)
• Monitor daily safety general workers activities at site
• Inspect the worksite machineries and equipment which are being utilized at the site in order to ensure compliance to the project site safety requirements.
• Assist in incidents/accident investigation and reporting.
• Ensure safety signage, first aid kit, firefighting equipment and adequate supply of safety materials are available at the worksite.
• Ensure all site accessories are safe and housekeeping carried out at site.
• Prepare and submit the safety workers time sheet to the Project Manager/Safety Manager/SHO.
• Assist and report to the Project Manager on issues pertaining to the site safety, health and environmental matters.
• To be a team player and proactive in promoting safety, health and environmental matters at the workplace.
