Job summary

LILA TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a Site Safety Compliance & Enforcement professional to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations plus company EHS policies.

You will conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, manage PTW, review risk assessments, inspect materials, and coordinate site inspections with contractors and client representatives to drive continuous safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, client site rules, and company EHS policies.
• Conduct site safety inductions, daily toolbox talks, and hazard briefings for all site workers, installation teams, and subcontractors prior to work execution.
• Review Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) registers and ensure approved Method Statements and Safe Work Procedures are strictly followed on-site.
• Perform physical incoming inspections for delivered materials and structural components on-site to verify quality, quantity, and spec compliance before installation.
• Coordinate and conduct in-process and final inspections of site installation works alongside main contractors and client representatives.
• Identify, tag, and place on hold any damaged or non-conforming materials and installation work, reporting discrepancies for disposition and corrective action.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, lifting operations, and hot works ensuring valid Permits-to-Work (PTW) and proper PPE usage.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, report unsafe acts or conditions, investigate on-site accidents or near-misses, and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Supervise subcontractor compliance regarding site safety protocols, housekeeping practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain complete on-site safety records, inspection checklists, NCRs, and submit daily/weekly HSE and quality reports to management.
