Job summary

Gdparchitects seeks an experienced Project Manager to join the project delivery team in Malaysia. The role acts as site project lead for the Client and Consultant, overseeing contract administration, design coordination and site inspections from start to finish.

You will manage submissions, progress meetings and project documentation while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to meet objectives and ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in construction, contract administration, site supervision or project delivery.
• Proven experience acting as a site project lead for Client and/or Consultant, managing construction matters from site coordination through to completion.
• Degree in Building/Construction-related studies or registration with a recognised professional body (LAM, BEM) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as the site project lead on behalf of the Client and Consultant, overseeing day-to-day construction matters.
• Lead contract administration throughout the construction phase to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate contract, design, construction, inspection and site-related matters.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities on construction matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Chair site, technical, progress and coordination meetings and document actions.
• Review and coordinate all project submissions, approvals and reports.
