Job summary

AG Staffing Malaysia is recruiting Site/Project Engineers (Fresh Grad/Junior/Senior) for Data Centre Construction in Johor Bahru. You will supervise on-site civil and structural works, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and method statements, and coordinate CSA with MEP disciplines.

The role requires reading drawings, implementing safety standards, managing subcontractors, and maintaining schedule progress.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Fresh grads or those with relevant C&S site or project engineering/construction management experience.
• Able to read drawings, coordinate technical issues and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements and safety requirements.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, infrastructure, bridge, or building projects will be an advantage but not required.
• Mandarin speakers will be an advantage for spoken and written communication with relevant stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination: Manage day-to-day on-site/C&S activities, overseeing main contractors and subcontractors; coordinate CSA works with MEP.
• Quality & Compliance Control: Ensure structural works follow approved drawings and standards.
• Safety Management (HSE): Enforce PPE, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safe site environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil & Structural (C&S) Site/Project Engineer in Data Centre Construction supervises on-site/project execution, ensuring highly specialized, mission-critical facilities are built to exact structural and architectural specifications. They bridge the gap between design and physical delivery, managing heavy-load specifications, vibration control, and strict quality and safety compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination: Manage day-to-day on-site/project C&S activities, overseeing main contractors and subcontractors. Coordinate Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) works with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
• Quality & Compliance Control: Ensure all structural works are constructed per approved drawings and standards.
• Safety Management (HSE): Enforce strict safety protocols, enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) rules, conduct risk assessments, and maintain zero-incident site environments.

Preferences

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Fresh grads or those with relevant C&S site or project engineering/construction management/project management experience in construction projects.
