Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable site/project engineer with a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering to join our team in Malaysia.

With 1-2 years of experience in industrial projects, you will coordinate with contractors, inspect sites, test and commission systems, ensure safety compliance, and document progress. The role also provides opportunities for promotion and hands-on exposure to electrical panels, IT racks, containment systems, and cooling units.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering.
• Min 1-2 years of experience in project/site engineering (industrial projects).
• Knowledge of IT racks, containment systems, cooling units and electrical panels.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with safety regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and customer to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning of systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.
• Prepare daily progress reports and project documentation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation and handover.
• Assist in project planning, schedulling and resource allocation.
