Job summary

Servus Intralogistics GmbH is seeking a Site Manager to lead the assembly and commissioning of plant projects at international customer sites. You will ensure on-schedule execution of all mechanical and electrical work by your team, coordinate interfaces with the customer, and lead the staff and subcontractors on site.

After onboarding, you will manage a team of specialists, serve as the primary contact for customers and project managers, and contribute to the success of worldwide intralogistics

Qualifications

• Education in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or comparable fields.
• Several years of professional experience in industrial plant engineering.
• Written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and independent, self-reliant work style.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project and CAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly and commissioning of plant projects at international sites.
• Ensure correct and on-schedule execution of mechanical and electrical work by the team.
• Coordinate interfaces with the customer and lead the on-site team.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and project managers.
• Produce On-site documentation and ensure safety and environmental agendas.

What to expect

As a Site Manager, you are responsible for the assembly and commissioning of plant projects at our international customers' sites. This includes the correct and on-schedule execution of all mechanical and electrical work by your team, the alignment and coordination of interfaces with the customer, and leading the team. You are the point of contact for both our customers and our project managers. After comprehensive onboarding, you can expect a responsible and varied role with your team of highly trained specialists.

• Managing large-scale intralogistics plants at international locations – the next major project is in Malaysia
• Coordinating construction sites and acting as the first point of contact on site for our customers and project managers
• Leading staff and subcontractors and planning their deployment
• Ensuring project goals: schedule, cost, quality
• Monitoring safety and environmental agendas
• Creating "As Built" documentation for assembly modifications
• Processing defect lists

What you bring to the table

• Education in fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable qualifications
• Several years of professional experience in industrial plant engineering
• Written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project and CAD programs is an advantage
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• Willingness to travel
