PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for infrastructure works focused on street lighting systems. The role involves planning, supervising installation, and coordinating with authorities to ensure inspections and handovers are completed to specifications.

You will monitor testing and commissioning, coordinate cable relocations, and work with utility providers to meet safety requirements. On-site leadership and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure or road projects.
• Hands-on experience in street lighting installation and cable relocation.

Responsabilités

• Plan, supervise and coordinate installation of street lighting systems.
• Monitor testing and commissioning per project specs and authority requirements.
• Liaise with local authorities for inspection and handover of lighting works.
• Coordinate relocation of fibre optic, telecommunications and power cables within Right-of-Way.
• Work with utility providers to ensure compliance with MOS and safety requirements.
• Prepare work schedules and traffic management for cable diversion activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure works follow drawings and MOS.
• Coordinate with Civil team to avoid clashes between M&E and structural works.
• Attend site meetings with consultants, clients and utility agencies.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings and material submissions.
• Ensure compliance with quality plan, ITP and safety procedures.
• Prepare progress reports and assist in progress claims.
• Conduct site inspections and rectify defects during construction and DLP.
