Job summary

GT-MAX CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a site-based professional to oversee construction activities in Selangor. You will ensure work meets standards and specs, maintain daily progress and inspection records, and coordinate with workers and subcontractors to follow approved drawings.

You will monitor quality, safety, and cost, manage resources to minimize wastage, and resolve on-site issues promptly. Requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 1–2 years'

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are a plus.
• Must possess a valid CIDB Green Card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction work meets standards and specifications; complies with approved drawings.
• Maintain accurate records of construction activities: daily progress, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Identify and resolve construction-related problems and conflicts promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to meet building codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Direct and supervise construction workers and subcontractors to follow plans and specifications.
• Control site resources and overall project costs; minimize wastage on site.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.
