Job summary

Kejuruteraan P & L Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Project Engineer focused on plumbing construction in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will oversee projects from initiation through completion and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet objectives.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, 3+ years in project engineering (plumbing preferred), and solid knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and Malaysian building codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably in plumbing construction.
• Strong understanding of cold water and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with Malaysian building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee plumbing construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against them.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and close-out materials.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications.
