Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an EHS Manager for a water treatment facility as part of a hyperscale data center project in Serendah, Malaysia. You will lead environmental, health and safety management across construction, drive compliance with Malaysian regulations, and oversee contractor EHS performance on site.

The role requires hands-on safety leadership, strong water infrastructure project experience, and the ability to coordinate with clients, PMC team and authorities through planning, testing

Qualifications

• Proven EHS experience in water infrastructure or related utilities.
• Competent in Malaysian safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience overseeing contractor EHS on major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of the EHS management plan.
• Oversee EHS activities for water treatment and related works on site.
• Review risk assessments, permit-to-work, lifting plans and safety docs.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and close out corrective actions.
• Coordinate environmental controls, waste management and compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and preventive actions.
