Job summary

Digital Edge is seeking a Senior Civil/Construction Lead to manage the civil works for a flagship data center project at the Johor site in Malaysia. You will plan, sequence, and control activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with consultants, authorities, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering with extensive construction experience.
• Minimum of 12 years in construction/engineering, with at least 3 years on large-scale data center or complex projects with MEP content.
• Experience leading base-build delivery and coordination of underground infrastructure, piling and foundation works.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil works for a large-scale data center project, including planning, execution, risk, safety, quality and contract administration.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, authorities, and client representatives.
• Ensure on-site documentation, progress reporting, and timely resolution of challenges.
• Oversee on-site activities from site setup through handover, including staging and sequencing of works.
