Job summary

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson, is seeking a Production Team Leader to lead and manage daily production activities, ensuring safety and quality. You will execute the production plan, assign tasks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to uphold efficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, leading daily line meetings, supporting testing and packaging, and maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school education with electrical or mechanical technical background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar production/team leader role.
• Experience using hand tools and production equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand materials, machining and assembly processes.
• Basic English and computer skills, including MS Office.
• Good leadership, communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Added Advantage: forklift, crane or lifting platform certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily activities of the production team.
• Execute the production plan and assign tasks based on team members' skills and availability.
• Ensure the team has the required tools, materials, work orders and documentation.
• Monitor production progress, quality, safety and team performance.
• Conduct daily line coordination meetings and communicate company updates to the team.
• Support EOL/FAT testing, packaging and loading activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Warehouse, Testing and Quality teams when support is required.
• Manage team attendance, overtime and work schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Work with other Team Leaders and participate in Kaizen/continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety within the production area.
