Within Engineering and Technical Services, you will provide preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operation and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include following instructions for scheduled and emergency work, diagnosing issues, and delivering results under supervision using

Qualifications

• Chargeman A0/A1 certificate and registration with Energy Commission.
• Min. 2 years working experience in facilities or building maintenance.
• Meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills to calculate simple figures.

Responsabilités

• Review and follow instructions covering scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work.
• Advise when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage.
• Dismantle, clean, repair, replace electrical equipment with safety precautions.
• Make mechanical repairs as required in servicing electrical equipment.
• Install, splice, or replace sections of wire incidental to repair or temporary installation.
• Make emergency mechanical repairs without other maintenance personnel.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes.
