Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Shift Chargeman A0/A1 to manage preventive and corrective maintenance for medium to large buildings and industrial systems.

You will inspect equipment, lead basic repairs, and ensure safety and codes compliance while following CBRE procedures. The role requires 2–3 years in electrical and mechanical maintenance and a solid command of MS Office.

This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and operates on a shift basis.

Qualifications

• Competent Chargeman A0/A1 with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Experienced with electrical & mechanical maintenance.
• Able to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment; lead basic repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Assign work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Support energy management and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Ensure installations comply with codes and safety regulations.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Communicate clearly; verify understanding and ask questions.
