Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an SG&A Finance Analyst to prepare and maintain SG&A trends and Capex data within the financial system. The role collaborates with country stakeholders to align on financial values, assess operational risks, and adapt financial statements for accurate monthly reporting insights.

The analyst reports to the Senior SG&A Finance Manager and acts as the subject matter expert on SG&A topics for a specific country/division, overseeing end-to-end SG&A

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years FP&A experience focusing on operating expenses.
• Experience in a multinational company.
• Strong financial, IT, and analytical skills with an operational focus.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and champion the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain SG&A trends and Capex data within the financial system.
• Collaborate with country stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial values.
• Assess operational risks and adapt financial statements accordingly.
• Conduct thorough analysis of actuals and provide monthly reporting insights.
• Validate expenses within the system, including PO and T&E expenditures.
• Oversee end-to-end processes related to SG&A activities.
• Align country budget holders on SG&A key metrics for the country/division.
• Track actual performance and share monthly analysis identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and monitor risks and barriers.
• Drive and lead process optimization projects and problem solving.
