Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Financial Analyst to support Global Operations Finance Services and inbound freight planning in Malaysia. You will execute finance transactions, maintain master data, and deliver accurate reporting for global stakeholders, with a focus on data integrity and process standardization.

The role involves collaborating with US and Malaysia teams, supporting month-end and year-end close, and driving automation initiatives within a global shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in FP&A, Finance Operations, Shared Services.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau).
• Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• At least 2–5 years of work experience.
• Growth mindset with proactive ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support finance-related transactions in accordance with policies and SLAs.
• Create, maintain, and update financial and master data within ERP and business systems.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial and operational data across multiple systems.
• Perform data validation, reconciliations, and exception management to support reporting accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve transactional discrepancies and system issues for stakeholders.
• Partner with US and Malaysia operations finance teams for timely processing.
• Prepare, validate, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting activities.
• Support inbound freight planning and forecasting with reliable data analysis.
• Maintain KPI dashboards and performance metrics for decision-making.
• Respond to reporting requests with timely analysis across global locations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, data governance, and internal controls.
• Support audits with documentation, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Maintain process documentation and SOPs; identify risks and control gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data and reporting issues.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and digitization initiatives in finance operations.
• Participate in system implementations and user acceptance testing when applicable.
• Contribute to scalable and sustainable global operations finance processes and reporting solutions.
