Job summary

Linkk Busway Systems (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Service Manager/Assistant Manager (Electrical/Mechanical) to lead after-sales service for busbar trunking systems. You will supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance, ensuring safety and quality while guiding a field team.

The role requires travel to client sites and close collaboration with contractors and end-users. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years

Service Manager/ Assistant Manager (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)

To manage and lead all after-sales service activities for busbar trunking systems, including installation support, testing & commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training. The Service Manager ensures timely response to client needs, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with product performance and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

After-Sales Service Management - Lead the service department responsible for installation supervision, testing, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of busbar trunking systems.

Plan and coordinate service schedules, manpower deployment, and on-site activities.

Ensure all service activities comply with company safety, quality, and technical standards.

Manage service documentation, reports, and feedback tracking.

Support clients in resolving operational issues, including replacement of parts or damaged sections.

Liaise with testing teams for post-installation verification and site acceptance tests.

Provide training and technical guidance for installation, safety, and service protocols.

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users.

Represent the company during site meetings or audits related to after-sales performance.

Develop and maintain service manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Monitor KPIs such as response time, service completion rate, warranty cost, and customer satisfaction index.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in after-sales, service, or commissioning—preferably in busbar trunking systems, switchgear, or LV power distribution equipment.

Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, IEC 61439-6 standards, and testing procedures.

Familiarity with site safety regulations, permit systems, and client QA/QC processes.

Experience managing field service teams and customer interactions.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Organized, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset.

Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
