Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years in rotating pumps for the oil & gas sector. The role involves overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of pumps, with FAT testing at sites to meet safety standards.

You will liaise with contractors, clients and internal teams to align on job requirements, while maintaining punctual attendance and willingness to travel onshore or offshore as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years experience in rotating pumps in oil & gas.
• Experience in overhaul, troubleshooting, dismantling and commissioning of rotating pumps.
• Repair, testing and FAT on site to ensure client specs and safety standards.
• Able to liaise with contractor, clients and internal sales team on job requirements.
• Must have driving licence and be able to travel onshore or offshore when required.

• Repair, testing and can do Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at site to ensure compliance with clients specification and safety standard.
• Can liaise with contractor, clients and internal sales team on job required.
• Have valid driving license and able to travel onshore or offshore when required.
• Punctuality, good working attendance and willing to learn.
• Able to give short period notice
• Working hours: Mon to Fri (8:30am to 6pm)
