Job summary

CSI Interfusion is seeking a Service Engineer Lead based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to lead service engineering delivery and coordinate live-site operations across local and global teams.

You will drive project planning, customer communications, incident response, release coordination, testing, and quality assurance while developing the delivery capability of the local team and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical service delivery, engineering operations, or project coordination.
• Experience building teams from the ground up and driving project execution from 0 to 1.
• Experience managing project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, status reports, actions, and issues across multiple workstreams.
• Experience leading customer communication and coordinating delivery across local and global teams in different time zones.
• Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead live-site service operations, including on-call rotations, incident response, IcM coordination, issue mitigation, and post-incident follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate project delivery across engineering, operations, and global teams, managing schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, and status reporting.
• Serve as a key customer contact, clarify requirements, communicate progress and risks, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Coordinate release, security, and quality assurance activities, including deployment validation, rollback readiness, vulnerability remediation, testing, and automation.
• Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, documentation, communication mechanisms, and quality standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, work allocation, handovers, offboarding, and day-to-day team administration.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 1) Experience with incident response, release coordination, testing, vulnerability remediation, or production service operations.
2. 2) Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python programming or scripting.
3. 3) Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese.
4. 4) Experience using AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
