Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead Yield & Stability Excellence. You will drive KPIs for yield and quality, own escalation management, and coordinate with module experts to reduce defects and improve detection across stages.

You will apply systematic problem-solving approaches (8D, DMAIC, FTA) and collaborate with process owners to sustain SPC effectiveness, aiming for best-in-class reliability and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in Semiconductor Manufacturing background.
• Statistical data analysis and strong problem-solving skills.
• Systematic problem-solving methods: 8D, DMAIC, FTA, fishbone.
• Ability to communicate with staff at all levels and anticipate issues.
• Knowledge of reliability concepts and test standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive KPIs related to yield and quality indices (Escalation & SDCAR).
• Own module escalation management and lead discussions across parties.
• Analyze, monitor and drive improvements on escalation incidents.
• Promote lessons learned and best practices for standardization.
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure SPC effectiveness.
• Drive improvement on assembly defects and early detections of escapes.
