Job summary

Hong Kong Unison Limited in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Wintel Security Engineer to strengthen enterprise Windows infrastructure and security. You will lead vulnerability remediation, hardening, and policy enforcement across the stack.

You will drive automation, incident response, and documentation while coordinating with security teams to meet CIS/NIST/PCI-DSS standards. Strong leadership and hands-on engineering are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience securing Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation using Nessus/Qualys.
• Automation experience with PowerShell; scripting in Python preferred.
• Experience configuring GPOs, Defender, firewall settings and network device hardening.
• Ability to monitor, respond to incidents, and maintain security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation across enterprise infrastructure.
• Harden Windows Servers using Microsoft security best practices.
• Configure and manage Group Policies (GPO).
• Implement Windows Defender and Firewall security configurations.
• Secure Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto network devices.
• Perform vulnerability remediation using Nessus and Qualys reports.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Monitor infrastructure using SIEM tools.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Perform patch management and system hardening.
• Ensure compliance with CIS, NIST, DISA STIG, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Prepare technical documentation and SOPs.
