Job summary

Unison Group is seeking a Senior Wintel Security Engineer to strengthen enterprise Windows and network infrastructure. The role focuses on Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, vulnerability remediation, and PowerShell automation to enforce security standards.

The ideal candidate will lead remediation efforts, implement security best practices, and ensure CIS/NIST/DISA STIG, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA compliance across the environment. Mentorship and SOP documentation are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, vulnerability remediation, and security automation.
• Proficient in PowerShell; Python preferred for automation.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST, DISA STIG, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation across enterprise infrastructure.
• Harden Windows Servers following Microsoft security best practices.
• Configure and manage Group Policies (GPO).
• Implement Windows Defender and Firewall security configurations.
• Secure Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto network devices.
• Perform vulnerability remediation using Nessus and Qualys reports.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Monitor infrastructure using SIEM tools.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Perform patch management and system hardening.
• Prepare technical documentation and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
