OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Development Senior Staff Engineer (Wet Chemistry) in Kulim, Malaysia. The role leads the development and transfer of wet chemistry processes for chip projects, planning experiments, and delivering concise technical reports.

You will coordinate with R&D and production teams to ensure smooth ramp-up of new products, applying strong frontend metrology, data analysis, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• Experience leading wet chemistry/process development in semiconductor environments.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of wet/ plating processes for chip projects.
• Plan experiments, manage timelines, and write technical reports.
• Interface between R&D and production to ensure smooth transition and ramp-up.
• Collaborate to define process window, capability, and standardization.
